I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Nikki, and I'd like to introduce myself as both Shawn's wife and Mike's daughter. Growing up on Lousy Run Farm, I had a unique childhood filled with experiences that have significantly shaped who I am today. The farm, with all its challenges and triumphs, has given me a deep appreciation for family, food, and farming.

For the past decade, I have watched with immense pride as my husband, Shawn, and my father, Mike, have dedicated themselves to revitalizing Lousy Run Farm. Their passion and commitment have breathed new life into a place that holds so many cherished memories to me. It has been a joy to see their hard work bear fruit, and I am incredibly honored to be part of this ongoing journey, contributing to the farm's history and future. My personal journey on the farm took an unexpected but delightful turn when I started growing cut flowers. Initially, it was a simple attempt to save money, as I found myself spending quite a bit on bouquets every other week. However, what began as a cost-saving measure quickly blossomed into a genuine passion. To my surprise and delight, I discovered that I wasn't too bad at it!

What started as a hobby soon evolved into something much more significant. I began offering flowers by the bucket to family and friends, relishing the joy and smiles these blooms brought to their faces. It became clear to me that this was more than just a pastime; it was my way of spreading a little goodness in a world that seems stressful all too often.

This flower-growing venture has already exceeded my wildest expectations, and I am excited to see where it will lead. Being able to contribute to the farm's legacy while pursuing something I love is truly a dream come true. I look forward to the future with optimism and excitement, eager to see how my flowers can continue to bring joy to others.
